Silverton Alpine Running was created by Jamil & Nick Coury in 2011 to continue the rich running tradition in Silverton, Colorado. They were asked to organize the Kendall Mountain Run and Silverton Alpine Marathon (previously organized by Silverton resident and Wyman Hotel & Inn owner, Rodger Wrublik) and will be offering new running opportunities in the years to come.  While not year round residents of Silverton, the Coury brothers have spent anywhere from 2 to 10 weeks in Silverton each summer for the past 8 years primarily centered around activities supporting the Hardrock Hundred Endurance Run. Nick finished the Hardrock in 2008 in a time of 31:07 and Jamil completed the Hardrock in 2009 in 33:19. They both finished again in 2013 and 2015. While not in Silverton, the Coury’s organize 18 trail and ultra running events in Arizona with their company, Aravaipa Running.
